I have a bomb shelter!!
So I’ve just moved into my new place, unpacked everything, decked it out and. Oh. My. Golly. Do. I. LOVE. It!! Jan even bought me a portable oven so I can morph into the best pastry chef on the planet - cookies, cakes, tarts, flans, soufflé…HOO-RAY.
You know that saying “I love you from the tip of your toes to the top of your head”? Well, I think it’s a saying....
Ikea, its love
So I just got back from Ikea with my mum and can I just say that it was FREAKING AMAZING!!
During the cab ride there, I was sitting on the lovely PVC that is plastered over the entire interior of Singapore cabs…and I was overly and disturbingly excited. Like the kind of excited you get when you’re about to see someone you haven’t seen in ages. Yes, I had the butterflies. The...

Another change...
So, I finally found a house to move into. I don’t know who reads this, if anyone, or who of those that do read this actually know me, BUT I live in Singapore now. Orginally from down under, I moved away roughly six months ago for work, for an opportunity, for the start of something new…

Those moments
I love those moments where it actually hits you that you are unbelievably ecstatic. Like nothing can bring you down. When everything is funny. Where you can’t stop smiling. You feel weightless. Perfect. Like the first time you realise you like someone. Like being in the company of all your favourite people. Eating at your favourite restaurant. Never being in a rush. Knowing you’re...

I LOVE MY MUM AND DAD. THAT IS ALL.
Sometimes...
Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want…and just see what happens.
I was born with my heart sewn to my sleeve. I say “love” a lot and I...

Word of the moment: golly
- interjection, informal
Used as a mild exclamation expressing surprise, wonder, puzzlement, pleasure, or the like: “oh my golly that rainbow is so bright it’s going to start raining skittles!!”
Legendary word.
It's just another manic monday...
I wish Monday was a fun day…but the reality is that it rarely comes close to that. The weekend’s over and the joys of work call and nag - like an alarm clock that you keep putting on snooze, and consequently one that annoyingly triggers piercing sounds every 9 minutes. Mondays are like running on a treadmill and not getting anywhere. Monday, oh Monday, why can’t you be like...

Sometimes it’s good to procrastinate, sometimes it’s nice to get distracted, sometimes it’s the best to just vacantly stare and get lost in your own little world…sometimes life’s sweeter that way.

There is a subtle difference between a mission and a promise. A mission is something you strive to accomplish – a promise is something you are compelled to keep. One is individual, the other is shared. When a mission and a promise are one and the same… that’s when mountains are moved and races are won.

Tea Party
Can we have a tea party while sitting in an inflatable paddle pool with frilly parasols and pastel-coloured synchronized swimming caps perched on our heads? Naturally, scones with jam and cream will flow in abundance, and we may even have some spiked tea in old, chipped tea cups, to wash down the crumbs and ‘cleanse’ the palate.

Moi: wrapped up in a bow
I love images that I can’t look away from, words I can’t stop using, and moments that never leave my mind. Friends, family, loves, cuddles, and memories are some of the pieces to my puzzle. Musicians, flat whites, orangutans, the white side of a rubix cube, lime green, lemon meringue pie, new tunes, and the small things are what get me. I like things a little different, which makes...
Monday blues?
Monday evening at the office. Wine. White. Red. White. Strange papadum chips. Wafers. Salted peanuts. Laughs. Stories. Make-up. Friends. Monday blues stop at the colour.
